Developed remediation strategies, closure plan preparation
and engineering design for the closure of several surface
impoundments at The Dow Chemical Company’s facility
in Freeport, Texas. Closure plans were prepared in accordance
with RCRA regulations and Texas Risk Reduction Standards. |

Managed a remediation project at Dow facility in Tlalnepantla,
Mexico. Remediation activities included: in situ soil
vapor extraction; in situ enhanced biodegradation; concrete
and structure cleaning; concrete demolition, removal,
and disposal; shallow soil aeration; aboveground soil
vapor collection and treatment; and drainage system repair. |

Managed a DOE project consisting of the development
of an integrated system for the decontamination and recycling
of concrete contaminated with radioactive particles. |

Managed the oversight of the groundwater remediation
phase of the remedial action at the Geneva Industries
Superfund Site in Houston, Texas. |

Managed the removal of over 50 USTs in Texas,
Louisiana, California, and Kansas. |

Managed the installation of 6 groundwater treatment
systems, for the removal of gasoline from groundwater. |
|
Managed a series of projects at a pesticide plant in
Pasadena, TX. Projects include the development of specifications
and drawings, and actual work implementation to bring
a tank farm area into regulatory compliance, general drainage
and secondary containment study and recommendations for
the entire plant, and the development of a Spill Prevention
Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan. |
